Co-Ed Speed/Agility and Soccer Academy: Gr. K-8 (SS-10)
About
Simsbury Varsity SOCCER (STEVE JARVIS) and TRACK AND FIELD (JEFF OSBORNE) are working together to run a SPEED, AGILITY and SOCCER CAMP. This camp will involve a fun and intense 70 minutes of soccer, and 70 minutes of Speed/AGILITY TRAINING. There will be a 30 minute rest/snack/MOTIVATIONAL period in between the two MINI-SESSIONS. (SHS Track) Camp will be offered for two different age groups:1) K-4: Beginner to Intermediate - basic skills will be taught and trained through competitive drills and games
2) 5-9: Intermediate to Advanced - advanced skills will be taught at a fast pace through intense drills and techniques. This session is meant for serious players looking to take their games to the next level. Cross training and learning from other varsity coaches will improve coachability and athletic success.
