In the treacherous mountains of Transylvania, a meek English real estate agent takes a harrowing journey to meet a new and mysterious client, who also just happens to be the most terrifying and ferocious monster the world has ever known - Dracula. As famed female vampire hunter Jean Van Helsing and company chase Drac from Transylvania to the British countryside to London and back, their antics are guaranteed to increase your pulse and cause bloodcurdling screams—of laughter.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to the KLMS Fine Arts Technology Fund. This fund will be used to provide technology for all Fine Arts classes at KLMS.

This event will be on November 1st from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Haunted Hallways is an event that we did in 2021 and 2022. Students will design and decorate the 6th grade hallway like a Haunted House. Then we invite students, families, and community members to buy tickets and walk through.

Featuring a fast-paced, wildly funny and touching book by Rachel Sheinkin and a truly fresh and vibrant score by William Finn, this bee is one unforgettable experience. An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves a champion! At least the losers get a juice box.

The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

Joe's Café is a lip-synching performance where each theatre class learns a dance and performs in front of their peers. This is a tradition here at KLMS.
All performances will be on the morning of December 21st. If your student is a 7th or 8th grader, they will perform twice, once for the 7th grade class and once for the 8th grade. If your student is a 6th grader, they will perform once, for the 6th grade class. The schedule is as follows:

6th Grade Performance: 10:30 AM
Please plan to arrive early to account for parking and check-in at the front office.

Actually, the house was once occupied by the creepy, crawly Dr. Thanatos, who tried to re-animate the dead. Vivian and Anne show up, determined to destroy the party. A grim farmer enters who warns the kids that it’s dangerous to stay. We soon discover why — zombies! While the decorations go up, the zombies shuffle from the graveyard. It’s zombies versus students!

Mamma Mia is the story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father told using hit songs by the popular 1970s group ABBA. Set on a colorful Greek island, a young woman about to be married discovers that any one of three men could be her father.

Join the Hendrickson Hawk Choir for a holiday extravaganza featuring choirs from Kelly Lane, Murchison Elementary, Dearing Elementary, Brookhollow Elementary and Highland Park Elementary. All proceeds from tickets will go toward making this concert a tradition in the Hawk feeder pattern!

The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane

Based on Kate DiCamillo’s beautiful novel of the same name, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane follows a beloved toy rabbit on his journey throughout the world as he learns the true meaning of love. Edward meets many different people in many different situations: an older grieving couple who find comfort in Edward’s presence, a hobo and his dog who introduce Edward to a whole community of homeless wanderers, a farmer in need of a scarecrow, a sad little boy and his very ill sister, and finally a doll mender and an old doll who teach Edward an invaluable lesson. Through this miraculous journey, Edward learns what it is to love, what it is to lose that love, and how to find the courage to love again.

April 29th and 30th the Hendrickson Silver Dancers present On The Road Again as they journey around the country for their 2022 Spring Show. As the Silver Dancers wrap up a successful year, they are excited to perform various styles and to showcase the hard work they have put into their dance routines. Doors open at 6:30pm and the show begins at 7:00pm. Come join the Silver Dancer road trip and travel along with us!
