About

We will walk for approximately 1.5hrs along the Rainbow Trail through the Taylor Creek marsh. Conditions permitting, we'll observe the spawning Kokanee salmon and will interpret their lifecycle, as well as that of other wildlife in the area. This field trip emphasizes the importance of the Taylor Creek ecosystem in the context of fall migrations.

We'll also have a table for animal adaptations, time permitting. After the field trip, you will have the option to take the short walk to Kiva Beach and eat lunch next to the lake. Eating lunch after will be weather dependent!
