About
Calling all 6th & 7th grade ELA students! Come discover the mystery and magic of Old Town Sacramento through an exciting and wonderful tour of the Sacramento History Museum.
Old Town Sacramento used to flood all of the time, so the town decided to make their 2nd floor the first floor--they raised the streets and the front doors, etc. They also had to make their original first stories survivable under ground. Many of these underground areas are available for tours--some are also even restaurants, etc.
Parents/siblings will not be part of the tour but can stay near (outside museum) and wait for students RISE teachers will chaperone their students.
