WHS Prom 2025 A Night Around The World
Who May Attend?
Prom is a formal event for WHS juniors and seniors. While you do not need a “date” or a “guest” to attend, WHS juniors and seniors may invite one guest to attend with them. Guests may be a WHS student OR a non-WHS student who must be at least a sophomore in high school and not be more than one year out of high school.
How much are tickets?
Early Bird Special: From March 31 until April 13, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. the cost of a ticket for a WHS Student or a WHS Student Guest will be $55, the same price as last year. This is an incredible value for this venue! A ticket for a Non-WHS Student Guest will cost $65. Please note that a NON-WHS Student Guest Form for WHS Prom 2025 MUST be submitted and on file in order to purchase a non-WHS student guest ticket. Plan accordingly in order to capitalize on the early bird special.
Regular Ticket Pricing for WHS Students: Starting April 14, 2025, at 12:01 a.m. to April 17, 2025, at 11:59 p.m., the cost of a ticket for a WHS student will be $85. You will not be able to purchase a ticket after April 17, 2025, for ANY REASON!
Regular Ticket Pricing for Non-WHS Student Guests: Starting April 14, 2025, at 12:01 a.m. the price of a Non-WHS student guest ticket will be $120. Ticket sales end on April 17, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.
NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AFTER APRIL 17, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Do not ask. There is nothing we can do!
What will I get for the price of the ticket?
Northern Lights will be providing the music from 8:00-11:00 p.m. Assorted Hors d’oeuvres featuring global cuisines will be provided throughout the evening. And, back by popular demand, there will be an amazing assortment of fancy desserts on the dessert wall as well as a soft-serve ice cream bar. In addition, there will be a stunning immersive display throughout the evening, transporting guests around the world!
How do I purchase tickets for a WHS Student?
Tickets are available for purchase on Vanco. QR codes are also located around the building or on the Student Council's Instagram (@wayzatastuco). All tickets are advance sales only - NO tickets will be sold at the door and no tickets will be sold after April 17, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.! Tickets will go on sale March 31. Please plan accordingly! While we would love to accommodate spontaneous decisions to attend this event, we need to adhere to a strict ticket sales deadline to accommodate the event center’s requirements. All sales are final!
WHS students may request a voucher for prom tickets by completing the Voucher Request Form . Once verified and approved, the WHS student will receive information regarding next steps. As long as your form is submitted by the deadline, you WILL get a ticket to the event! Please be patient as we process these requests! This form MUST be submitted by April 13, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. in order to provide enough time to process tickets before the deadline.
How do I purchase tickets for a Non-WHS Student Guest?
STEP 1: A NON-WHS Student Guest Form for WHS Prom 2025 will need to be completed for students who do not attend WHS before guest tickets can be purchased. Students should use their Wayzata email address to access the form. If this form is not submitted, the guest will not be admitted into the dance.
STEP 2: Once the form is received and approved by your Dean or Associate Principal, the WHS student will be sent a one-time use link to purchase the non-WHS student Guest ticket. DO NOT PURCHASE A WHS STUDENT TICKET for an individual that does not attend Wayzata High School. If you do, your guest will NOT BE ADMITTED to prom as they will not have a WHS Student ID. All ticket sales end on April 17, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.
What else should I know about the event?
Students will present their WHS ID and their QR ticket code for entrance at the dance. Skyward can also be used to check-in WHS students. WHS students should have the QR code saved on their devices to expedite the process of getting scanned into the dance. You may also print the QR code if you prefer. In the past, some students have struggled with wifi connectivity or battery life on their devices. Non-WHS Students should bring a photo ID. The name on the ID should match the name on the guest ticket. Random breathalyzers will be conducted as students arrive at the event by WHS Deans. Once a student leaves the event, they will not be able to re-enter.

Is there parking available?
There are a limited number of free parking spots available on site. In addition, there is some paid street parking available around the event center. Just across the street, parking is available at the Minneapolis Farmers Market site. There is also a convenient drop-off and pick-up site by the main entrance of the building.
What happens if I miss the deadline or I’m unable to use my Prom Ticket?
All sales are final and no sales will be made after the April 17 deadline. However, we will facilitate a ticket exchange. There is no guarantee that you will recoup your money or that you will be able to obtain a prom ticket. WHS will facilitate the exchange of tickets via Vanco. As a reminder, the name on the ticket must match the student ID or you will not be allowed into the dance. Staff will be checking IDs at the door. We will also have Skyward as a backup.
