RELEASE OF LIABILITY

On behalf of myself and/or the other parent and/or legal guardians of the Person participating in this activity offered by the Terrell Independent School District, for and in consideration of my request to allow participation in the Terrell Independent School District activity for which I am registering myself and/or the Person, for himself and/or herself, for said Person, and for his, her and/or their assigns, heirs, executors, administrators, and legal representatives, have this day released, acquit, and forever discharge the Terrell Independent School District, its predecessors, successors, assignees, Board members, legal representatives, agents, servants, employees, volunteers, coaches in both their individual and official capacity, and all persons, natural or corporate, of and from any and all claims, demands, damages or causes of action of any kind whatsoever, at common law, statutory or otherwise, which the I/we have or might have, known or unknown, now existing or that might arise hereafter, directly or indirectly attributable to said person's participation in this activity, or in any way connected thereto, it being intended to release all claims of any kind which any of us, individually, collectively, or as next friend of the said individual, might have against those hereby released, whether asserted heretofore or not, and including but not limited to any claim for negligence.

ON BEHALF OF MYSELF AND THE OTHER PARENT AND/OR LEGAL GUARDIANS OF THE PERSON, I/WE DO HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE TERRELL INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT, ITS BOARD OF TRUSTEES, AGENTS, SERVANTS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, COACHES IN BOTH THEIR INDIVIDUAL AND OFFICIAL CAPACITY, AND ANY OTHER PERSON, FIRM, OR CORPORATION BOUND TO DEFEND OR PAY JUDGMENTS AGAINST IT AND/OR THEM, OR ANY OF THEM, FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS OR CAUSES OF ACTION, INCLUDING CLAIMS FOR CONTRIBUTION OR INDEMNITY, AND THE REASONABLE AND NECESSARY COSTS, INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES INCURRED IN DEFENSE OF ANY SUCH CLAIM, WHICH ANY OTHER PERSON, FIRM, OR CORPORATION HAS OR MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF/OR RESULTING FROM THE PERSON'S PARTICIPATION IN THE TERRELL ISD ACTIVITY, OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED THERETO.

I consent and agree that Terrell Independent School District, and/or their coaches, agents, representatives or volunteers may take photographs or digital recordings of me and/or my registrant as a participant during events and use these in any and all media for training or promotional purposes. I further consent that the identity of the participant may be revealed therein or by description text or commentary. I waive any rights, claims or interest and I understand that there will be no financial or other remuneration.

On behalf of myself and/or the other parent and/or legal guardians of the Person, I/we hereby warrant that I/we are the legal guardians of the Child and that no other legal guardian has been appointed.

On behalf of myself and/or the other parent and/or legal guardians of the Participant warrant(s) that I/we have read this agreement and fully understand it to be a release of all claims, known or unknown, present or future, that he/she has or may have against the party or parties released, arising out of or in any way connected with the matters described herein.

The "Event Organizer" is not obligated to provide any refunds in regards to tickets purchased for their events.

Vanco Events is an online system for organizations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing needs.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organizer” and not that of Revtrak inc d/b/a Vanco Events.
