In the storyline of Mary Poppins, the social issue of homelessness is addressed through the “Bird Woman” character. Muth Community Players’ goal is to entertain audiences, but also to put this presentation into action!! During the show’s run, they want to help keep the Restore Food Cupboard of Frankenmuth stocked because no one in a community should have to worry about where their next meal will come from! A collection box will be available in the foyer for cast and audience members to drop off non-perishable food and hygiene items during the show’s run February 13-16 at the Bronner Performing Arts Center. A suggestion list and the organization’s location and mission statements are attached below. The need is great, but together as a community, we can make a difference to fight hunger, and bring hope to the needy. See Louann if you’d like handouts of these attached items or any questions!
